Japanese Cooking Class
(May 13, 2014)

Japanese Cooking Class “Let’s make Bento” was held on May 26th, 2014. Bento literally means a container for lunch which is eaten at work, school or while travelling. We featured making Bento for our cooking class because lately its style of packing a meal in a divided box has drawn much wider attention to international residents. This time 17 participants from 12 countries and districts learned how to make Bento meal and how to decollate it in the box compactly.
