Home Visit in Autumn

Participants 19 international students visited 10 Japanese host families

Voice of Students  - I talked a lot with the host madam, telling her the story about my work and my country. I especially enjoyed the time in which I can practice my Japanese with the kids, who is eager to know more about the cultural heritage of my country.
- Very nice activity, a good view into the modern lifestyle of Japanese people. A really nice day.
- I enjoyed the visit very much. I get to try the japanese food I've never tried before. I also get to know how it looks like to be inside the house of the local japanese.

Voice of Participants ・It was fun! Everyone is very helpful and interested in learning about new cultures and cooking.
・It was a great experience - fun and intersting, and very hands-on and educational.

Home Visit
date: held on May 21(Sat), 2016 13:00-17:00
Participants: 32 international students visited 19 Japanese host families
Universities Tokyo Institute of Technology, Univ. of Tokyo, GRIPS, Waseda Univ., Keio Univ., Meiji Univ., Ochanomizu Univ.
 voice of participants  - This is the first time to have friend with Japanese people outside school. The host had taking care of me so good and I wish to get in touch with them again soon.
- This activity was far better than I had imagined. Through this event, Ilearned many things about Japanese culture. And it is quite different from learning it through a book, because I experienced them myself. This kind of chance is really valuable.
- This activity is amazing,it's my first time visiting a Japanese family and a very impressive experience for me.
- I would like to thanks MIFA for giving me this great opportunity to have host family in Japan. It always been my dream to have family in Japan.
