"Report on Filipino Cooking Class"

Severn foreign residents from five different countries and 11 Japanese participated in the Filipino Cooking Class held on Nov.22 (Thurs.).

They cooked and tasted Adobo(Meat Stew), Pinakbet(Fried vegetables),Sinigang(soup) and fried banana. Each of them was easy to cook and delicious. All the participants got interested in Bagoong (salted shrimp), a seasoning indispensable for Filipino cuisine, and asked where to buy the seasoning, saying that they want to cook Filipino food by themselves.
