°ķReport on Introducing Korean Culture °… Cooking and talking session°…

"Introducing Korean Culture" was held on Saturday, April 24, 2010 at Midorigaoka Bunka Kaikan.

The lecturer was Ms. Kwon from South Korea
The first half of the event was cooking class.
19 people participated, and they were divided into 5 tables. They cooked Jijimy(pancake)and Japchae(transparent noodle).

Japchae(transparent noodle) is sold only at Korean store, but other ingredients can be found in any supermarkets in Japan.
We can put anything as filling of Jijimy and Japchae, for example, you may use leftovers in the refrigerator.
Ms. Kwon said that Japchae is standard menu for a house party.

The last half of the event was talking session under the themes of °»Family and education in Korea.°…
The lecture was very interesting because we could know their problems and family relationship in the most competitive education environment.
It was a good opportunity for us to know °»Korea°… while cooking Korean dishes together and exchange among participants.
