Ingredients (4 servings)
４ (１for slices) turnips
4 tbsp liquid broth (shirodashi)
1/2 thin deep-fried tofu
2 crab sticks (kanikama)
1/2 tbsp cornstarch
１ Peel turnips. Slice 1 turnip and grate the rest. Mince stems and leaves of turnip. Julien thin deep-fried tofu. Spread crab sticks.
２ Warm broth. Add turnips and thin deep-fried tofu into broth. Cook through.
３ Squeeze grated turnips softly. Add grated turnips, minced stems and leaves, crab sticks and cornstarch dissolved with 1tbsp water into ２. Boil a little.
４ Serve in a bowl.
