Ingredients (4 servings)
1 canola flower (nanohana)
250g sliced pork loin
A 1.5tbsp soy sauce
1tbsp sugar
2tsp sake
2tsp mirin
salt, pepper
1 tbsp butter
Method
1 Boil canola flower quickly in hot water with a pinch of salt. Drain on a sieve to remove moisture. When it gets cold, squeeze. Cut off hard part of root. Cut stem in half lengthwise if it’s thick.
2 Spread pork. Sprinkle salt and pepper.
3 Put canola flower on the front of pork and roll.
4 Melt butter in frying pan. Fry rolled pork, winding end below until browned.
5 Mix A. Pour into 4 and mix together while boiling.
6 Cut into bite sized pieces.
